SolomaxHub ("we", "us") runs solomaxhub.com, an online store for AI, design and productivity subscriptions, priced in naira. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. SolomaxHub is operated by Solomaxhub LLC (owner: Solomon Boyi). You can reach us at support@solomaxhub.com.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, username and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text). If you add one, your phone or WhatsApp number.
- Google sign-in: if you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and an account ID with us. We keep a copy of the picture on our site to show in your account. We never see your Google password.
- Orders and wallet: products you buy, the amounts you add to your wallet and spend, order numbers, dates, and the delivery details we give you (for example a login or invite for your subscription).
- Delivery information you give us: for example the email address a subscription should be added to.
- Support: messages you send us, and links to screen recordings you share for a warranty claim.
- Technical information: your IP address, device and browser type, and sign-in times. We use these to keep accounts secure and prevent fraud.
We do not see or store your card number or bank login. Payments are handled by the payment providers listed below.
2. Why we use it
- To create and run your account, including signing you in.
- To take payments, keep your wallet balance correct and deliver what you buy.
- To send emails about your account and orders: receipts, delivery notices, security alerts and password resets.
- To handle support requests, warranty claims and replacements.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, and to keep records required by law.
- To send you deals and news, only if you agreed. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
We use your information to fulfil our agreement with you, to meet legal obligations, for our legitimate interest in keeping the store safe, and with your consent where required.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We only share what is needed with:
- Payment providers: Paystack, Korapay and NOWPayments (for crypto payments), to process your payments.
- Product suppliers: only the details needed to fulfil your order, such as the email address a subscription should be added to.
- Service providers: our web host (Hostinger, servers in the European Union), our email provider (Google Workspace), and Google (for Google sign-in).
- Authorities: when the law requires it.
Some of these providers are outside Nigeria. When your information is transferred abroad, we use providers that protect it appropriately.
4. Cookies and similar storage
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in, keep your cart and wallet working, and protect your account. Your browser also remembers small choices, such as light or dark mode. If you install the SolomaxHub app, it saves design files on your phone so it loads faster. It never saves your wallet balance, orders or delivery details on the phone.
5. How long we keep it
- Account details: while your account is open, and for a short time after you ask us to close it.
- Orders, payments and wallet records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually up to 6 years.
- Support messages and warranty records: for up to 2 years after the claim is closed.
6. Your rights
Under Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it by law;
- stop sending you marketing, at any time;
- give you a copy of your information in a common format.
You can also withdraw consent you gave us, remove your profile picture or disconnect Google from your Profile page, and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). To use any of these rights, email support@solomaxhub.com from the email address on your account.
7. Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections (https), encrypted storage of passwords and delivery details, two-step sign-in for staff, and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Age
SolomaxHub is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top, and tell you by email or on the site if the changes are important.
